Weekend Getaway to Bedford Fall Foliage Festival

Our overnight accommodations will be at the Historic Harrison House on the campus of the Officers

Christian Fellowship Conference Center in Mann’s Choice, PA. 

The Historic Harrison House has been recently remodeled, and Singlefaith is one of the first groups to stay in the new rooms.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a retreat, it is a Weekend Getaway. A sample itinerary is below.

DATES:

TWO NIGHTS: Friday, October 6, 2023 and Saturday October 7, 2023.

Need more getaway time? There is a long-weekend option to arrive early on Thursday or stay through

until Monday.

DETAILS:

Package Pricing includes Friday/Saturday sleeping accommodations, dinners on Friday/Saturday and

continental breakfasts on Saturday/Sunday.

Dinners include a salad bar, one hot meat and two hot sides (vegetable/carb), homemade bread/rolls

and dessert. You will NOT be ordering from a menu. Water, tea and lemonade are also included.

Continental breakfasts may include a combination fruit, muffins, bagels, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee

and appropriate condiments.

Options for Additional Nights

Add Thursday night October 5 and/or Sunday night October 8 for an additional cost. 

Additional night(s) include continental breakfast only. 

All other meals are on your own. 

Monday, October 9 th is Columbus Day and you may already have a long weekend off work!

COST:

Package Pricing – 2 nights, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts – Friday Night October 6 and Saturday Night October 7

Option 1 – Private Sleeping Room (Single Occupancy) and Private Bathroom  $250.00 per person

Option 2 – Private Sleeping Room (Single Occupancy) and Shared Bathroom  $200.00 per person  (read description of accommodations below)

Option 3 – Shared Sleeping Room (Double Occupancy) and Shared Bathroom  $140.00 per person

Additional Nights – 

Thursday October 5 and/or Sunday October 8, includes continental breakfast the next morning

$55.00 per person, per night.   You will have the same room that you have Friday and Saturday nights.  

If you have a shared sleeping room and your roommate is not staying an additional night, you will have that room to yourself, no cost change. 

If you have a private sleeping room on Friday and Saturday nights, you will have the same private sleeping room on either/both additional nights.

Payment in full is due at the time of the reservation. 

Please read the cancelation policy carefully, you will check a box agreeing to the cancelation policy

before entering your payment information to make a reservation.

DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATIONS

The Historic Harrison House does NOT have cookie-cutter rooms. 

The layout of the rooms, bathrooms and bed sizes in each of the rooms will vary. 

Many of the Historic Harrison House rooms are set up as two-room suites with a full bathroom.

For example, you may have a room with one queen and two twin beds, yet it will be a private sleeping room.

You will have that room to yourself. 

Or, you may have a room with three twin beds, and it will be a shared sleeping room with one other person.

Some rooms have bathrooms are “jack and jill style” which means a full bathroom that is between two

bedrooms with a door on either side of the bathroom.   THESE ARE THE PRIVATE SLEEPING ROOMS with SHARED BATHROOM - the bathroom is in the middle and a private sleeping room on either side with separate entry doors.

Some rooms have “pass through” bathrooms which are a two room suite that is a bedroom connected to another bedroom and full bathroom.

Most of THESE ARE THE SHARED SLEEPING ROOMS with SHARED BATHROOMS. 

Jack and Jill style bathrooms and Pass Through bathrooms will be shared by same gender individuals.

Singlefaith will assign rooms using the Harrison House floor plan map as reservations come in.

ROOMMATES for double-occupancy / shared sleeping rooms

Singlefaith prefers that you specify the name of your roommate at the time you register and pay.  

If you want a shared sleeping room but do not have a roommate, Singlefaith will assist in matching you up with a roommate, but there is no guarantee a roommate will be found to share with you.   If at all possible, find a roommate and both of you register and pay at the same time or within a few days of one another.   Send questions via email to info@singlefaith.org

CANCELATION POLICY

If the getaway weekend event is canceled by either Singlefaith or the Officers Christian Fellowship

Conference Center you will receive a FULL REFUND. 

The Bedford Fall Foliage Festival is held rain or shine.  The getaway weekend will NOT be canceled due to weather. 

Cancelations made on or before 9/22/23 will receive a refund minus 15% of the total payment.

Cancelations made on or before 9/29/23 will receive a refund minus 25% of the total payment.

Cancelations made on or after 9/30/23 will receive a refund minus 50% of the total payment.

After October 5, 2023, there are NO REFUNDS.

All cancellation/refund requests must be made in writing via email.
